2010...not such a good year so far...

Well 2010 hasn't been the greatest year so far, but the best part is that it can't get any worse! (we can only hope it cant). But really, normally they say in like a lion out like a lamb...so the end of the year should be GREAT.

Jeremy's vacation reset at the beginning of the year, and our furnace pipe froze Jan 3rd. Well at least he had vacation. I woke up to a chilly 52 degrees. Got that fixed, after a 74 dollar bill to the furnace repair man, and it broke the next day. Then my brother came out and helped us fix the problem correctly and it has been working ever since.

Then a week later the pump in the basement that pushes the toilet in the basement out, the vent pipe for that froze up. So, well we just couldn't take a bath, use the toilet, or sink downstairs. Oh but we also couldn't use our water softener. We made in through the week, and finally heard the chunks of ice come down the pipe. Sweet things should be looking good then right...

Well then we thought we were really doing great because my health allowed me to finally get PREGNANT. Having PCOS is a bunch of Crap, and gets really frustrating, but I think to myself, there are so many more people out there who have health problems that do not allow them to get pregnant. PCOS just makes me mad cause its my own fault when I eat something that is crappy for me, and yet I still eat it. When we got pregnant, we were a little scared because it sounded to good to be true. Well, it was to good to be true, and I miscarried 4 days later. I was only like 8 weeks, and I keep looking at the positives, and thinking how great it was that I was able to get pregnant, so I will keep trying. But like I said, there are others out there who are having problems getting pregnant so I have to be very grateful for what I have!

Carter is now in a big boy bed, but doesn't like to sleep in it by himself. So, one of us gets him to bed, sneaks out, and then sometimes has to get back in there with him around 3:30 when he wakes up in the morning. He is at the stage where he is getting scared to be in the dark.

We have had enough snow to choke a horse, and we have no room for it. I got stuck in our driveway, (well Jeremy says it wasn't the driveway) and then a week later Jeremy got stuck because he thought his car could get through the huge drift at the end of the driveway. So, we have had a visit from the tow truck twice this year.

I forgot to mention a while back that we will have a new family member, and Carter will have Auntie Devan in May 2011. She has been Auntie Devan for a while, but they are now getting married. We are very excited for them!

We are all ready for spring, we are looking to get outside, enjoy some time in the garden, on the swing set, mowing lawn, and actually doing some much needed yard work. This snow needs to just go away cause it is very annoying!

Ok, well hopefully I can keep up with the blog now that I am caught up. But don't hold me to it! But maybe if I keep the blog going, the luck will get better...

My oh My have I missed everyone!

Well this might be quite long, but hopefully I can get everyone up to date in a short period of time.....

Sine the last post...

Well the bedroom and spare room are still not painted.

The Laptop is still held together with the X from the leap frog fridge phonics

Carter is still repeating EVERYTHING

I still want Hawaii

School is 3 weeks of being done with the Winter Quarter. Its been a nice easy quarter with only 8 credits, but hey I am loving it! And can't wait to only have 8 credits in the summer too. As much as I want to be done, I want to enjoy the warm weather and spending time with the family.

Scrapbooking is what I have been doing. FINALLY. I only have 30 pages left to do, and I will be all caught up. Even cut out a couple pages because he already has 4 books.

Jeremy and I also thought that we could install cabinets in our entry way, and it was a success! Surprising.

Ok, so now that nothing has really changed since the last post...wow I can start with the new things that have been going on.
