Who's been sleeping in my bed...

Yup you guessed it, Carter has taken over our bed. Well only when he wants to watch Clifford. But hey, it leaves the Living room open for mom and dad so who cares right???

Happy Easter

So Easter was a big hit for Carter this year. I had to work, so Carter and Jeremy went to Jeremy's parents for lunch, came home and had a nap. Then when I got home we headed into town to see Great Grandma Mona, and Godmother Holly. After those two stops we headed to Uncle Ben's house. So Grandma and Grandpa had to show mom and dad up by buying the best thing ever (in Carters eyes). He is now officially a patrol man. You heard it.....watch out so he doesn't pull you over.

Then Uncle Ben and Auntie Devan had to show mom and dad up too. He now has a castle so that when mom and dad ship him to Ben and Devan's, he is going to live like a King! (now we just need to ship him off)

Oops someone caught him asking to stay overnight....

He also had to rest with his pal Marley

Oh yeah Marley needed her picture taken too!

So Ben goes inside, and Carter freaks out. But thank God for Auntie Devan, she took the best picture for mommy!

Oh yeah and cause I am pretty much a bad mom, and forgot to hide the eggs, he got them once we got home. But he did love all the money he got ($6.50)!

Enjoying the Nice Weather

This past weekend we were able to spend some much needed time outside. I took pictures, Dad raked up dog poo, and Carter played with Annie and Sabrina outside.

Carter gave off some fun faces, which I had a hard time not laughing at!

Kind of resembles the star trek people......

And mowing some of the lawn

And making Dad do what Carter wants. If he wants you to do something, he will drag you to where you need to go!

Yeah, I got a little daring since, play-doh says its for ages two and up! But Carter did very good with it. He knew that he couldn't put it in his mouth, well that really didn't stop him though. Overall he did well.

Recipe of Choice

MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD

3 to 4 c. salad greens broken (leaf, Bibb lettuce, spinach)
1/4 c. sliced onions1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted in butter
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

There you have it, the 15 minutes it took us to color eggs. Yeah that's right only fifteen minutes because we had to act quick since he thought it was fun to throw the eggs into the cups. Talk about a little boy who doesn't know gentle!
